Bill left for a trip last Friday and didn't return home until today... He leaves again tomorrow, comes home on Friday, but leaves again on Sunday... Busy, busy! Bath time and story time with Daddy become extra special when we haven't had it in a few days!

West Glacier Trail Adventure
Today, A and i took the dogs to West Glacier Trail. We followed the trail to a branch that we think eventually leads to the glacier. We didn't have time to trek all the way there, but decided to pick our way back along the beach for something a little different. At one point, the beach came to and end and we had to make our own way up a knoll, through the brush, and down the other side. We enjoyed seeing icebergs and doing a little slip-sliding tree branch hanging! ;)

With Bill away, the girls have more work to do with the dog (they have to come with me when i walk him!) I'm happy that the work of having a dog is becoming fun. :) We took a walk in the light rain tonight, and the girls skipped along singing songs for most of the time.

We were lucky today to be invited along to a playdate at the beach. Since the girls skipped their nap yesterday and were grumpy this morning after getting to bed late last night, i put them down for their nap. I really wanted to head straight to the beach, but i know i made the right decision... The girlies slept almost 2 hours! Since the weather was so nice, our friends were still at the beach when we arrived, and had just started a fire. The moms tended the fire, we all roasted marshmallows and enjoyed some yummy smores, the kids explored, and the moms got to chill a bit by the toasty fire...

Today was skating, but the girls chose their visit to Bill's office as their favorite part of the day. After skating, i donated blood and the girls hung out in the conference room. There were snacks, dinosaurs, and good friends... What's not to love?! ;)
Since i didn't take pictures of them "at work", here are some of our skating session:

West and East
Yesterday, A and i met to take the dogs to West Glacier Trail and today we met again to do East Glacier Trail. Yesterday i only had a hour to walk/hike because the girls were at dance class, but today we made great time and did the whole trail loop.
