It took me four tries to get all the way around this loop, phew!
A and i made our first attempt last Tuesday morning:
As beautiful as Tuesday was, Wednesday was wet!
A and i headed out anyway in search of the easy route,
but didn't find what we were looking for:
We were able to try again on Friday, but weren't able to make it all the way around the loop. We did take the easy way, but did not meet up with where we left off on Tuesday.
Third Try:
Today was not a pretty day... It was rainy, wet, and cold! However, knowing that we would be out of town for two weeks and not knowing when i would be able to hike again, i took off with many layers and my best rain gear. I decided on the hard route:
I was so excited to finally hike this whole trail! It was a wet and lonely walk, so i'm looking forward to tackling it with A again soon in better conditions!
