M+M Daily Favs 10.6

MN=getting the flu mist: "I can still smell the chocolate!"
MR=going to the library and getting my new book

Today we took the girls to the doctor for their flu shot. Luckily, we were able to give them the flu mist again instead of the shot. The nurse was terrific with the girls... She told them that some kids thought the mist smelled like chocolate and some like vanilla. MN said it tasted like chocolate (her fav) and MR said it tasted like vanilla (her fav). I think it's pretty neat that the mist changes to make itself each kids favorite! ;)

Despite needing to get ready for our trip, we took time out to take the girls to the library preschoolers' night. We went a few times earlier this year, and always had fun. The library serves a light supper, has a craft, tells stories, and sends each child home with a new book. Tonight's theme was Under the Sea... People from DIPAC brought mini touch tanks, there was a make a fish craft (which we skipped), a fiddler played music, and one of the librarians read ocean themed books. Now that we have been in town almost a year, we recognize people and it's fun for the girls to run into their friends. The library sponsors these nights once a month and we will be going again! :)
