MR=playing on the playground
Oh my goodness, that was a long trip! We woke the girls up at 4:45 AM to make a 6:15 flight to Seattle via Ketchikan. We arrived in Seattle excited for a 4 hour layover (the Seattle airport has more places to eat than Juneau, more places to shop than Juneau, and [thankfully] an indoor playground that M+M adore). We walked around, shopped, ate, and played. Despite being tired, M+M were troopers... Then began the delay. Our plane was ready for us, Newark just wasn't ready for our plane! Thanks goodness for long cords and computer movies. We watched Dora, Diego, and School House Rock while we waited to board the plane almost 2 hours late. The girls were asleep for their afternoon nap before we even started to taxi. We landed after midnight in Newark and were chauffeured home by Bill's brother, E. Thanks E! Our arrival woke up the whole house, but we were able to get the girls to bed pretty quickly. Now the jet lag adjustment begins!
