Today would have been a great day for a hike...

Saturday it rained. Sunday and Monday we had heavy rain and wind. Today we had clouds, it would have been a nice day to stretch my legs again on the trail. But Bill is away and even if i had a regular sitter, i doubt they would want to come round at 5am so i could go for a stroll!

I took the weekend off (stayed up late catching up with Amy and Paul and playing CG Monopoly), but here's a few pictures from my hikes on Perseverance Trail last week...

Monday, August 10th
It was foggy when i left the house; but while i was up on the trail, the fog settled in down on the road...

Tuesday, August 11th
No crazy fog this morning. The first picture is of the trail at today's turnaround point. The second is of a cool wispy cloud that i managed to capture with the camera in my phone...

Wednesday, August 12th
I finally got a hiking partner! Thanks for getting up with me and sharing the view, Paul!!

I skipped on Thursday and hit the gym Friday for weights before bringing friends to the airport very early.

Hoping to get the girls up to the top of Mt. Roberts or out to the airport trail if the rain stays away...
