Forest Explorers: Grasses, Rushes, and Sages

What an amazing morning to spend at the glacier!

Thanks, Ranger Brandon, for helping us learn the difference between sedges (have edges), rushes (are round), and grasses (have joints). The girls had a blast using their magnifying glasses to look for examples of each, touching the "icebergs", fishing with grasses, and throwing rocks into the lake.
