Singin' in the rain

After dropping of the kiddos at school yesterday morning, A and i met past Skater's Cabin and headed onto the West Glacier Trail. We walked for about 55 minutes and when presented with this hill of slippery rock, decided to turn around and head back. We weren't sure how much further the end of the trail was, and we did have to get back to pick up the kids!

Here are few more pictures from the trail:

As you can see from the pictures, it was another wet and drizzly southeast Alaska morning. I am in love with my rain pants and Keens, but not too pleased with my jacket and may be in the market for a something lined. Anybody have a lined waterproof jacket that they love and would recommend?

A leaves tomorrow for a trip back east. She arrives back in Juneau next Wednesday and i'm hoping to drag her to the trail Friday morning to help her work off the jet lag. ;)
