The weather here has been great... We had a really nice stretch in June, then back to rain and the random day of sun. We've just ended another great stretch of sun, and i actually heard people complaining today that they had to water their grass! Still not used to this weather pattern that is mine until (at least) next summer, but the snowy winter and the sunny spring and summer are defying all expectations.
On Sunday, i did the 2 mile round trip path at Twin Lakes while Bill and the girls played on the Castle Playground.
On Monday, i opted for a walk around downtown...
Yesterday and today, i hiked up Perseverance Trail...
Although i saw no bears, there is evidence of their presence (broken flower stem):
Beautiful fireweed in the Tuesday morning sun on Gold Street:
This morning's clouds:
Where i stopped to stretch:
I only made it to the top of this rise:
But the good thing about this trail is that it's all uphill in the beginning; so if you can only get a short time in, you're doing the hardest part! At least that's what i tell myself when i'm hitting the snooze for the second time!!
