MR=going to Jewel Beach and getting some things for my collection
While in Kodiak, we are staying at the Guest House on the CG base. It's really fantastic! We have shared use of a full kitchen, a mini fridge in each of our two rooms, and free laundry! We ate breakfast the other morning in the common room and i got to talking with a mom who was leaving with her family that day for the DC area. She told us that we had to check out Jewel Beach. I don't know if that is its real name, but it is the beach behind the bowling alley. I have never seen more sea glass in my whole life. Most of the pieces are tiny, but Bill, the girls, and i had a blast looking for the bigger pieces tonight after dinner. M+M are quite pleased with their treasures!
